Are you looking for a space to film your content or rehearse for an upcoming eisteddfod or performance? Maybe you’re looking for a little indoor venue for a party with flexibility to make the space your own with a little DIY decoration… then find out more below about how you can hire our space in Hawthorne, Brisbane.

  • Bright, natural light fills our studio, making it the perfect private escape for a small party or dance rehearsal. With sprung floors and floor to ceiling mirrors, our studio is ideal for dancers.

    LED lights frame the mirrors and plus a built-in sound system to bring the high vibes.

  • You’ll find our studio located in Hawthorne above Sister Cafe. Details about accessing our studio will be confirmed when you hire.

    Note: Our studio is located upstairs with the entrance to our studio is on the ground floor. Our space is not wheel-chair accessible.

    • For small parties, studio hire minimum of 5 hours plus cleaning fee ($45) & refundable deposit ($200)

    • Party hire maximum of 40 people

    • For private dance class or rehearsal, minimum of 1 hour

    • Hire is $50 per hour including GST

    Typical availability for studio hire:

    • Monday 11:30am to 4:30pm

    • Tuesday 10:30am to 4:30pm

    • Wednesday 10:30am to 4:30pm

    • Thursday 10:30am to 3:30pm

    • Friday 10:30am to 4:30pm

    • Friday 7:00pm to 10:00pm

    • Saturday 9:30am to 10:00pm

    • Sunday 6:00am to 10:00pm

  • Before booking, please review our essential requirements and fee structure. By proceeding with a reservation, you agree to these terms in full.

    📋 Booking Types & Minimums

    • Small Group Parties: Minimum hire of 5 hours.

    • Private Dance Rehearsals: Minimum hire of 1 hour.

    💰 Fees & Deposits

    All fees are due at the time of booking unless otherwise stated:

    • Party Deposit: A refundable security deposit of $200 is required for all small group parties. (Refunded within 7–14 days if no damage occurs).

    • Cleaning Fee: A one-off non-refundable cleaning fee of $45 applies to party hires.

    • Internet Access: Optional Wi-Fi access available for an additional $10 per hire.

    ⚠️ House Rules

    To maintain our facility standards:

    • ❌ No Alcohol: Consumption of alcohol on the premises is strictly prohibited.

    • 🍳 No Cooking: No food preparation allowed on-site. (Outside catering is welcome, provided it is pre-prepared elsewhere).

    • 🛡️ Damage Liability: The hirer is fully responsible for any damage to the studio or equipment. Costs will be deducted from the deposit or invoiced separately.
